Members from the Clark's Hill Striper Club, the Lake Norman Striper Swiper's, and the Striper Kings attended, along with many non-members.. The fishing was tough for most , but a lucky few had excellent weigh-ins. A total of thirty (30) boats weighed in fish. However, only 8-boats had the full 4-fish creel, and 4-boats had a 3-fish creel. While, on the lower side, 7-boats had a 2-fish creel, 11-boats had a 1-fish creel, and 19-boats came up with no legal sized fish.

It was a tough day of fishing with only 3-boats bringing in a full 4-fish creel. However, there were some very good quality fish caught including 12-fish over 10-pounds and 3-fish over 25-pounds.The 1st and 2nd big fish came during the mid-day (11:30 AM-1:30PM) in 55-feet of water. Another fish over 25-pounds was caught around 4:00PM by Mike Barnett, giving him and Vern Peterson the tournament first place finish.

What a close race. Additionally, the top-4 finishers were either a husband-wife team or a father-son team. Congratulations to all.
